Student Experience

Materials matter, even at the smallest level
Ph.D. student Tzu-Yi Chang did research at the Idaho National Laboratory involving nanoindentation, a method for testing localized material properties, such as hardness, stiffness, and elasticity.

Finding a path to global peace
Lily Ranjbar left Iran in 2012 to pursue her doctorate in nuclear engineering. After graduating in 2016, she chose to stay.
