Newly appointed international graduate teaching assistants (IGTAs)

English language testing and training
IGTAs whose native language is not English are required to take the internet-based TOEFL (iBT) test before serving as a GTA.
Students whose iBT speaking subscore is less than 22 MUST undertake further English language training.
