About the conference
Scaling and its applications attract broad attentions in new nuclear reactor development, accelerated fuel testing, hybrid energy system analysis, innovative material testing, and IET/SET designs, etc. Various scaling approaches were successfully developed and employed in prototypic systems of complex structure and diverse materials. Therefore, we would like to invite the researchers in those area, providing a collaborative platform to share their experiences, challenges, and knowledge, for the purpose of exploring future collaborating opportunities. The workshop will be in a small scale gathering per invitations, including SMR developers, accelerated fuel testing researchers, material scientists, and industry engineers. Currently, our plan tentatively covers the following subjects:
- Fundamentals of Scaling
- Dynamic System Scaling
- Applications to Experiment Design
- Applications to Data Synthesis
- Applications to Code Validations
- Scaling Analysis Outlook
