- You should expect a follow-up confirmation email.
- A calendar invitation with additional details will follow closer to the time of the event.
- Student sessions are roughly 20 minutes. A faculty member will help keep track of time and let you know when it’s time for the next session.
- A few days prior to the event we will send you links to your Zoom "Student Sessions". Like our average workday, the Showcase will have you hopping from call to call.
-
You will likely have an OSU "host" in the session. They're the timekeeper.
You may have as many people as you like. We recommend one have a technical background.
This event is open to students pursuing an EECS degree through OSU’s Ecampus. Students in the computer science bachelor’s and electrical computer engineering bachelor’s degree programs are invited.
Our largest online program is the postbaccalaureate computer science degree program. Students in this program have already completed a bachelor’s degree and are pursuing a second bachelor’s in computer science.
Online learners are often non-traditional students. Median age is early 30s.
The OSU Ecampus computer science program is a postbaccalaureate program delivered 100% online by OSU Ecampus, a nationally ranked provider of online education. This 60-quarter credit program provides individuals interested in changing careers or advancing in their current field an opportunity to learn from world-class faculty who specialize in computer programming, software engineering, mobile and web development, and more.
- Each company will give a 60-second pitch on their company to the students in the audience. (No slides.) Please share:
- Your name and the name of your organization.
- What your organization/makes does.
- Where offices are located.
- During the networking session, you will meet with small groups of students (both upper-division and lower division) meeting for 20-minute sessions. During those sessions, be prepared to share about your organization.
- Your company is also welcome to meet with individual students after the event concludes.
Use the Student Sessions to share about your company and connect with the students. The groups tend to be smaller, so it's great to have an interactive discussion where you can begin to assess the talent.

Our tentative schedule is here.
Please see our Virtual Booths page for details.
Employers can have a quick video. 30-second videos are super easy. Say your name, your organization, what kinds of roles you hire, and why your organization is fabulous. The video intro is helpful but not mandatory. Some employers opt for a video from their corporate offices. Those videos can be a little longer
