Students are required to register for the events unless otherwise specified. Make sure to check the event if they are virtual or in-person before registering.
How to Prepare for the Event
- Research the companies beforehand and come prepared to ask questions. Check out their virtual booth to see what companies are offering.
- Make an appointment with College of Engineering Career Services. They can help sharpen your resume, improve your interviewing skills, and even give wardrobe tips.
- Update your resume. Here’s a sample resume.
- Update your LinkedIn profile.
- Dress in business casual
- Come prepared to talk and ask questions
- Follow up with the industry reps on LinkedIn, thanking them for their presentation. If you applied for an opening, mention which position you applied for.
