About
Biography
I always say yes to new experiences, especially the ones that push me out of my comfort zone. My advice is to seek discomfort and set aside time for your passions. I recently took a term away from Corvallis to live in Milan Italy and I am spending my summer in Maine. Before this year, I hadn’t lived anywhere outside of Oregon. A passion of mine is travel, and I enjoy how it gets me out of my comfort zone. On campus, last year, I served as the President of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, but this year, it is my goal to found Oregon State’s first Consulting Club. I am also a part of several non-engineering related clubs in Dam Dance and Tennis.
I have had two internships, both vastly different industries, the infrared camera and construction industry, but I had the pleasure of working both as an Industrial Engineer. Through these internships, I was able to confirm that Industrial Engineering was right for me.
Whenever I have free time, you’ll often find me outdoors, playing sports, fishing, hiking, camping, swimming, journaling, playing guitar and tearing it up on the dance floor.
I would recommend several helpful resources for COE students. Everything I need to remember and do is documented in either Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, ChatGPT allows for more free time, and I like to believe Pokemon Showdown helps me pay attention more in my classes.
