Biography

Dr. Patrick Donnelly is an Associate Professor of Computer Science in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Oregon State University on the Cascades campus in Bend. Combining his interdisciplinary background in computer science, computer music, and musicology, Dr. Donnelly brings a unique perspective to the field of engineering. His primary research explores how sound, music, language, and human behavior can be better understood and supported through data-driven and computational approaches using artificial intelligence and machine learning. He is dedicated to making complex ideas accessible to students and connect their technical skills with meaningful applications for real-world problems.
