Biography
At OSU since 1970; ME Department Head 1986–2003; College of Engineering Associate Dean 2004–2006. Bonneville Power Administration, 1975 Lawrence Livermore Laboratory, 1974 Shell Oil Company, 1966 Chevron Oil Company, 1965 Current research interests of Dr. Reistad center around general and second-law thermodynamic analysis of energy systems including environmental consideration. Dr. Reistad's research efforts have been supported by private industry, DOE, BPA, USDA, and USDI.
