Biography

I was drawn to industrial engineering because I believe in thinking smarter, not harder. If something can be done more efficiently and effectively, then let’s do it! What excites me most about consulting is the opportunity to help businesses improve and grow. The world is too big to be working so small. After graduation, I plan to pursue a career in consulting, ideally with international opportunities that allow me to combine problem-solving with global collaboration.

This past year, I interned with Sierra Olympia, where I worked on industrial engineering projects focused on improving facility layouts and efficiency. I also gained valuable technical experience using CAD software and contributing to design improvements that streamlined operations.

On campus, I am actively involved in the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, the Sales Club, and serve as an officer in the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) chapter at Oregon State University. Outside of academics, I enjoy skateboarding (you can often find me riding around campus), as well as snowboarding and playing soccer. A unique part of my background is that I lived in France for a year, where I learned the language and developed a deep appreciation for exploring new cultures and traveling.
