Hi I’m Charlotte! I am a current senior civil engineering student. I am originally from Portland, Oregon. Within civil engineering I am interested in coastal engineering, specifically surrounding resiliency and recovery of the communities living along coastlines. This is particularly relevant in Oregon, as we live off a major fault line. I am also in the honors college, and I am working to complete my thesis surrounding the topics I mentioned. I am also interested in transit planning and engineering and recently completed an internship in this field. 

On campus I am a member and captain of our women’s ultimate frisbee team. I have played frisbee for about 9 years now and highly recommend joining some sort of sport or physical activity for study break! Outside of class I love hanging out with my friends, dancing, and reading books not related to school! 

After graduation, I plan on either pursuing a masters in coastal and ocean engineering, and/or working in transit planning and engineering!
