In my free time I love to get outdoors any way I can. I love hiking, camping, and skateboarding during the sunny seasons and snowboarding and skiing when it gets colder outside. On the other hand, I love my alone time where I am able to play videogames, watch movies, and explore music.

In the future, I would love to put my Industrial Engineering and Spanish to use in my professional life. This past summer, I got experience as a construction manager intern with Georgia-Pacific. While I greatly enjoyed the experience and am considering construction management, I would love to expand to more opportunities next summer to gain valuable experience towards my future career decision.

My other involvements on campus include being an officer in the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) club, a member of the Ethical Engineering Debate Club (EEDC) and also a member of SNO.S.U ski and snowboard club.

My advice for future engineering students is to never feel that you are forced to stick with your major. I would suggest taking the opportunity in your first year to explore plenty of options and ask questions. Never hesitate to ask, we were all in your shoes once!
