Bella Campbell

Hello Beavs my name is Bella (bae/ yuh). I am studying architectural engineering with a focus on structural engineering, and I added a minor in sustainability. Watching years of science fiction and home renovation shows as a kid influenced me to look into architecture. I truly love looking at buildings, old and new, and seeing the unique elements that make up these structures. OSU offered me design and technical skills in one major!

I am currently preparing for a study abroad trip to Italy this summer (2026) to study Italian Renaissance art! We will go all over Italy to look at and study the architecture and learn the history, and hopefully the design process for the various structures. I am not currently involved in a club, but I plan to join Engineers Without Borders next school year. Outside of school, I participate in our intramural sports soccer tournaments, where my team of friends play weekend games in our bracket (we are currently 4-0 for this spring term). I also love attending all the events with my friends that are hosted by the clubs, the student council, or by the school during the spring term as campus blooms and it's super sunny! 

Helpful resources that I recommend include: events going on in OSU (OSU events app), times for tutoring (math center, mole or worm hole hours), claiming tickets for games (go beavs!), Papercut (printing for engineering students), each student gets 500 free prints per term!

OSU Go is a great website to find various programs abroad from short-term to long-term studying. There are many topics, agendas, and course-specific trips you can be a part of. If you plan to study abroad, start planning very early! The process is very simple and there are many resources to help you out. Take every opportunity to explore what your major or interests look like in another country.
