Amy Olmos Garcia

Hey! I'm Amy. I’m majoring in Construction Engineering Management. I work in concert security and love soccer. After graduating, my goal is to join commercial construction, focusing on infrastructure projects that value sustainability.

I'm the Recruitment Chair for OSU's Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SPHE) chapter for the 2026-2027 year, and an active member of the Pocket Home Production (PHP) club. Getting involved in clubs has given me the opportunity to work on my soft and technical skills, while connecting with incredible peers and professionals in the industry.

My advice is for students to explore what interests them, asking themselves what the worst possible outcome could be. Regardless of the result, it is a learning experience. Say yes! and be intentional about the attitude you bring.
