Our Academic Advisors are available for in-person and virtual scheduled appointments. Our advisors are also available for drop-in hours both in-person and virtual.
Schedule an Appointment
- Current students can make an appointment with their advisor any time to discuss academic goals, career exploration and planning, and experiential learning. Schedule with your assigned advisor through Beaver Hub.
- 1. Click on Success Team tab
- 2. Click on your Academic Advisor’s name
- 3. Click on the Schedule an Appointment button

(If you would like to meet with someone other than your assigned advisor, please email them directly to request a scheduling link.
- Changing or declaring MIME majors
- If you are a current or prospective OSU student interested in declaring a major in MIME, please email a MIME advisor directly or email MIME.Advising@oregonstate.edu to set up an appointment with one of our advisors.
Students entering their first term at OSU must complete a required orientation which includes advising and registration.
Virtual Drop-in Hours
- Drop-in hours are not offered during the winter break starting Friday, December 20 through Thursday, January 2. The advising office is also closed for in-person appointments. If you have urgent questions during this time, please email your academic advisor. Advisors will be monitoring email over the break.
- Drop-ins are available Monday through Friday, 10:30 am - 4:00 pm (PST); closed from 12-1:00 pm for lunch.
- Click on the Drop-in survey link and you will be routed to the drop-in waiting room. An advisor will be with you shortly.

PIN Distribution
All students need a PIN to register for fall, winter and spring terms (no PIN needed for summer).
Your PIN will either be emailed to you or you will be required to schedule a PIN Appointment to receive your PIN.
You will receive an email at the beginning of every term from MIME Advising, letting you know how your PIN will be shared with you for that term.
