  • Upload your resumeAny EECS student (or recent graduate) at Oregon State can submit a resume - even those who are unable to attend the event.

  • Apply online at the organizations that interest you. Be aware that when meeting companies, they often ask if you have submitted your resume online.
  • Go to Career Services. They can help sharpen your resume, improve your interviewing skills and even give you wardrobe tips.

  • Check out the advice given by our industry guests in this quick video.
  • Watch for an email with the Zoom links to arrive a day or two before the event. If an assignment is with a different company from the one you signed up for, make the best of things and use this as an opportunity to broaden your horizons. Add the Zoom links to your calendar so you can easily jump from meeting to meeting.

What is one reason they enjoy working at the company? What is their best advice for students wanting to apply?
  • Do NOT leave early. The organizations attending this event are expecting to see you.

After the event:

  • Follow up with the industry reps on LinkedIn, thanking them for their presentation. If you applied for an opening, mention which position you applied for.
  • Never ask a recruiter to find you a job. That's not their job.
  • If you are selected for a phone screen or an interview, come prepared. If you cannot make your appointment, ask to reschedule.
