What it is: A 6-month project course to help electrical and computer engineering students learn about electronics in team based environment.
Average class size: 60-80 students in the course. The class is offered in two sections for two quarters, meeting fall/winter quarters and winter/spring quarters.
Opportunity: Industry sponsors can help co-define project(s) for a given area. Each project area has several teams of 3 students, averaging about 20 students per project area. Sponsors can mentor student teams, guest lecture, provide input on the course, and help judge the Junior Design Expo. (Average sponsorship: $10K/project area.)

Junior Design
Junior design is a project-based course that allows students to synthesize and apply knowledge from previous coursework. Students work in teams on projects like telemetry systems for rockets, or robots that can charge themselves.
Junior Design Expo
Students show their projects to industry representatives, faculty, and their peers at this informal event.
