Computer Science-Applied: Business Information Systems

Students who choose this option will study topics including business information system design and development, data management, application development, and analytics. This focus area develops a career skill set in information and data that is highly complementary to computer science careers that utilize Information systems to expand and transform their business competitive advantage.

Students in this focus area can apply to receive the business information systems minor. They should contact the College of Business for the latest requirements. Students who do not wish to declare a business information systems minor can attend drop-in hours for support, or fill out a COB course override request form if they need an override.

Students will work with a CS advisor to ensure they meet the CS requirements for any of the business focus areas.
