Biography

Bill Pfeil is an instructor for the EECS online postbacc program. He received his B.S. in applied mathematics and his M.S. in math education from the University of Arizona and Oregon State University respectively. Pfeil has also worked in the software industry for over 25 years on a diverse range of projects that include modeling, logistics, geospatial, law enforcement, device drivers, robotics, process control, streaming services, web sites, and mobile apps and games.

Pfeil is passionate about finding ways to improve CS teaching, including through collaborative learning and multi-modal approaches. He is committed to providing the tools and knowledge that every CS student needs to succeed in their career.
