Donald (Don) Heer

Donald Heer received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer engineering from Oregon State University in 2001 and 2003. He joined the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Oregon State University in 2003 as a member of the professional faculty, where he coordinates the TekBots® program. In 2025, he was appointed Assistant Program Director for Online Electrical and Computer Engineering, supporting implementation of the four-year online ECE degree. He has contributed to ABET accreditation efforts, and his research focuses on innovative engineering education experiences.
