About

Biography

Dr. David Hill joined the Civil Engineering program at Oregon State in 2010 after 10 years as faculty at Penn State University. He teaches classes in hydraulics, hydrology and applied modeling. Dr. Hill is an Explorer for the National Geographic Society and has twice been an Erskine Fellow at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. His research interests span a wide range of topics including mountain hydrology, coastal hydraulics, novel data assimilation strategies, and climate change impacts on water resources. His recent work has been sponsored by NASA, NSF, National Geographic, and the North Pacific Research Board.
