Campus and College Tours

Visiting potential schools is an important part of the college selection process. We’re confident that you won’t find another location like Corvallis. Located within the traditional homelands of the Mary's River or Ampinefu Band of Kalapuya, one visit to the lush Willamette Valley and you’ll understand why so many people want to stay here — there’s no place like it.

Stroll the historic tree-lined streets and riverfront park in downtown Corvallis, one of the nation’s top-ranked college towns. Explore mountains to the east and west. Cheer on the Beavers championship baseball team, and our basketball, football and other Pac-12 teams. Watch the pounding surf along the rocky Pacific coastline, or zip up north to trendy Portland.

It’s all within easy reach from the College of Engineering at Oregon State University, where your future is waiting — and we’re waiting for you.

If you are interested in learning more about the College of Engineering, join engineering student ambassadors for this one-hour in-person tour of the engineering facilities on campus. This will be a great opportunity for you to see our facilities, learn about the resources and programs available to engineering students, and get answers to all of your questions.

Learn about our college.

Take a peek into the engineering buildings at Oregon State where you will find a broad range of opportunities.

Visit for an Open House Program.

Oregon State also sponsors a variety of Open House Programs. Beaver Open Houses are full-day fall programs that provide an in-depth look at Oregon State and what we have to offer. Take a student-led tour, check out the residence halls, and meet some of our faculty and students.

Beaver Previews are also available for prospective high school students beginning their college search. Beaver Previews are half-day programs to learn the basics about Oregon State.

Visit one of our annual events.

Every year, the COE presents the Engineering Expo in May. Undergraduate and graduate students share their work through the use of models, demonstrations, and posters with industry partners, alumni, the media, prospective students, their peers, other academic institutions, and the general public. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact directly with individual students, ask questions, and exchange ideas.

We love it in Corvallis. We think you will too!

There’s a lot to love here. Only a few blocks from campus, you’ll find a vibrant downtown with restaurants, unique shops and galleries, theaters, and a twice-weekly farmers market. Learn more about Corvallis and the Willamette Valley. If you’re planning your visit, VisitCorvallis.com offers information on local events and ways to plan your trip.

The Corvallis-Cascades Connection

OSU-Cascades, our four-year campus in Bend, offers 16 majors, including signature programs in Energy Systems Engineering and Computer Science. With 1,200 students and an average class size of 17, it’s an Oregon State education in a more personal setting. Plus, the brand-new, 10-acre campus is close to all the outdoor recreation Central Oregon has to offer.
