Lam Research creates equipment that drives technological advancements in the semiconductor industry. Their innovative solutions enable chipmakers to power progress in nearly all aspects of modern life. This talk will cover some of the innovations in RF and plasma deposition. There will also be an opportunity to learn about career paths in the semiconductor industry.
SPEAKER BIO
Dr. Yuki Sakiyama is a Senior Technical Director in the Deposition Product Group at Lam Research. Yuki earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan. Prior to joining Lam, Yuki served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Tokyo and as a Senior Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. Yuki has authored 30 peer‑reviewed papers, delivered 25 invited talks, and holds 30 U.S. patents, with an additional 30 patent applications pending.
Cath Jensen is a Senior Manager of U.S. University Talent Outreach and Programs within the Talent Acquisition organization at Lam Research, where she has worked for the past eight years. Prior to joining Lam, Cath spent eighteen years at a leading semiconductor company, specializing in university recruiting and early‑career programs.
