Researchers at Georgetown University’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET) have identified three principles for effective AI governance: policymakers should 1) monitor the landscape of AI risk, 2) promote AI literacy among themselves and the public, and 3) develop policies that can adapt to rapid technological changes. Kendrea will unpack these principles and share insights on their implementation, highlighting topics such as sociotechnical AI safety and if-then commitments.
