W. Bruce Morrison : Engineering Hall of Fame - 1998

Mr. Morrison graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1934. He founded and was president of MFIA, Inc.--a firm of consulting mechanical and electrical engineers that recently celebrated its 50th anniversary in business. He has played a significant role in the mechanical engineering of heating and cooling systems for many buildings throughout the US, including several university campuses-OSU included. He has been very active in the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers. He is a charter member of the Oregon chapter which began in 1939, and served as its President in 1946-47. He was the national director from 1961-64, and was recognized as a Fellow in 1980.
