Biography

R.C. or "Bob" Wilson established his general contractor company in 1950 with the construction of the Oakridge Ridge Hatchery House. He retired in 1997 and the state of Oregon, particularly the Corvallis, area, has many landmarks that his company built. He has been active in community affairs, serving on committees and boards for the Corvallis School District, OSU, Linn-Benton Community College, and the city of Corvallis.

He was on the Citizens Bank Board for 19 years and served as chairman for 14 years. He serves as a trustee on the OSU Foundation Board and as a member of the College of Engineering Advisory Board. He received the College's Distinguished Alumni Award in 1994. Bob recently established the Robert C. and Patricia McEwan Wilson Scholarship Fund to benefit construction engineering management students with financial need.
