Mr. Robert Hall, Jr. graduated from Oregon State University in 1971 with degrees in Business and Construction Engineering Management. He began his career working with A. Teichert & Sons, Inc, progressively moving through the company to become the District Construction Superintendent. In 1980, Mr. Hall, along with two friends, formed J.R. Roberts Corp. of Sacramento, CA, which grew to be one of the top 100 largest contractor firms in the USA. Not long after starting J.R. Roberts Corp., Mr. Hall joined with others to form S.D. Deacon of Portland which employs 450 people and had 2008 revenues of $550 million.
