
Pradip Banerjee has more than 24 years of semiconductor industry experience in management, marketing, and engineering. In 1990, Banerjee co-founded the Sony Microelectronics Design Center in San Jose, California. At Sony, he provided leadership to strengthen and grow the company’s semiconductor business in the U.S. and abroad. He is currently the vice president of marketing and is responsible for Sony’s semiconductor business in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. Before joining Sony, he worked for Advanced Micro Devices. Banerjee received his bachelor’s of technology degree in Electronics from Banaras Hindu University – Institute of Technology in Varanasi, India. In addition to his MSEE degree from OSU, he also holds an MBA from Santa Clara University. Banerjee holds numerous patents in the field of memory (DRAM/SRAM) architecture and design.
