Biography

After graduating in 1968 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Oregon State University, Pat Connolly held positions with Procter & Gamble and Xerox Computer Services, and he founded or co-founded three mail order companies, including Sportswares with tennis star Billie Jean King. In 1979, Connolly joined Williams-Sonoma, Inc., as vice president of Mail Order. He was subsequently promoted to senior vice presidency of Mail Order and executive vice presidency of GM Catalog.

Since 2000, Connolly has served Williams-Sonoma as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing all marketing aspects for the company. In addition to these professional credentials, Connolly has served on the boards of numerous companies and non-profit organizations, including Direct Marketing Association, Stanford Business School, and CafePress.
