Biography

As principal-in-charge for structural engineering, Jerry Abdie oversees the selection and comparative analyses of structural systems for the structural engineering firm of KPFF. He joined KPFF's Portland office in 1987, was named an associate in 1995, and a principal of the firm in 1998. His job responsibilities include technical and managerial guidance to the project managers, internal peer review of documents, and checks on final documents. Abdie's project experience includes many well-known structures including Corvallis' Osborn Aquatic Center, OSU's Valley Library and the Indoor Football Fieldhouse, Nike's World Campus, and Portland's Fox Tower.
