Jen-Hsun Huang co-founded NVIDIA Corporation in Santa Clara, California in 1993 and has served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and a member of the Board of Directors since the company's inception. In June 1999, Huang was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in recognition of his achievement in building NVIDIA from a start-up to the second largest supplier of desktop 3D graphics processors in the world. He was also selected as a member of the RAND Board of Trustees in October 1999. Prior to founding NVIDIA, Huang held senior engineering and marketing positions at LSI Logic Corporation and at Advanced Micro Devices. During this time, he completed his masters degree in electrical engineering at Stanford while continuing to work full time.
