Biography
After graduating from OSU in 1967, Hüsnü Özyegin earned his M.B.A. from the Harvard University Business School. Mr. Özyegin established the Finansbank AS in Istanbul in 1987, and today it includes 512 branches around Turkey. One of his main philanthropic interests is developing public education buildings in Turkey, which he started in 2000. Mr. Özyegin founded Özyegin University, which officially opened in September of 2008. Mr. Özyegin proudly focuses on education as a tool for economic development and the betterment of Turkey.
