
Greg DiLoreto graduated with a bachelor's in civil engineering in 1976 and has served as the public works director in Newberg and Sandy, Oregon. He has also worked as a consulting municipal engineer for the cities of St. Helens, Rainier, and Clatskanie, Oregon. Diloreto is currently general manager and chief executive officer of the Tualatin Valley Water District, which has a budget of $29 million and approximately 100 employees. Under his direction, the District runs an award winning recycling operation and other environmental programs that have received national recognition.
Diloreto has served as president of Oregon's ASCE Chapter, and has held several positions on the Northwest District Council of ASCE. He has served on 10 national ASCE committees and was ASCE's Outstanding Younger Member for Oregon in 1985 and nationally in 1986. He was honored as Oregon's Outstanding Civil Engineer in 1995.
