Biography
After earning his BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Douglas Carmean, joined Lattice Semiconductor and later worked at Cypress Semiconductor and Sun Microsystems as well as ROSS Technology. He then moved to Intel, where Mr. Carmean became the Lead Architect and Manager for the Pentium Processor, the Principal Architect for the Pentium 4 Processor, and the Chief Architect for the Nehalem Processor. He is currently an Intel Fellow and the Larrabee Chief Architect for the Visual Computing Group.
