Cofounder and Chief Technology Officer, Altman Browning and Company, Portland, Oregon
A product-development firm that supplies process tools and equipment to high-tech electronics manufacturers, medical device and medical manufacturers, alternative energy companies, and pharmaceutical distribution companies. David has built a career around innovation and commercialization; and he has been a key facilitator of an OSU College of Engineering research collaboration affiliated with the Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnology Institute. While a student at OSU, David was president of the ASME student chapter, and participated on a student design team that took 3rd place in a national competition. Last year, David renewed his close ties to the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering by joining the Industrial Affiliates Board.
