Biography

After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering at OSU, Darrell Teegarden earned a master’s degree in electrical engineering at Stanford University. He went on to work at Hewlett Packard Company for seven years, working as a process engineer and software developer.

Teegarden then went to Analogy, Inc. and worked as an engineering manager and principal engineer, which included acting as the principal investigator of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) funded advanced hardware description language project.

Since 2000, he has worked in engineering management at Mentor Graphics, managing software development for simulation, modeling, and analysis products. Teegarden has published several papers in the field of mathematical modeling and simulation, and he holds one US patent.
