He is an expert in Internet networking, collaborative software, and digital media. Prior to founding MailFrontier in 2001, he founded a software consulting firm, Codeblaze. Previously, Wilson served as chief architect at Kendara and also has held senior technical positions at Apple, SGI, Hewlett-Packard, Tivo, and Excite@Home.
Wilson is a published author in collaborative software and has filed several email-related patents. MailFrontier was sold to SonicWall in 2006 and Wilson subsequently took a six-month hiatus that included a 10,000-mile motorcycle trip across Canada and a ski trip to the Alps.
