Methodology
We curated the following data directly from institutional websites using their 2026–2027 tuition tables.
We focused on tuition and mandatory fees for first-year undergraduate students only. We did not include variable expenses such as cost of living, books and supplies, or non-mandatory fees.
Additionally, we included only public, four-year research institutions with engineering programs comparable to Oregon State University.
