Full-year Graduate Research Project

Comprises student’s primary research topic for at least one academic year and often becomes master’s thesis topic

Graduate student with faculty supervision. May alsoinclude one or more capstone projects under graduate student’s direct supervision

Flexible start date; typically summer or fall

Sponsor covers (a) student stipend and student’s tuition costs for at least one academic year and (b) at least one month of supervising faculty’s salary.

MIME Industry Fellow

2-year package: research project + company internship for highly qualified graduate student. Dependable means of making substantial progress on a technical topic or creating a new product. A cost-saving “Try before You Buy” recruiting strategy.

Improve company manufacturing process through lean analysis and implementation

Graduate student with faculty and company supervision

School of MIME conducts national search for highly qualified graduate student, with sponsor input on candidate selection.

Sponsor covers (a) student stipend and tuition plus two six-month internships (equivalent of two years of graduate study) and (b) at least two months of supervising faculty’s salary
