At Oregon State, graduate students are innovators and idea generators, powering our research engine. They work closely with our world-class faculty, and when those bright minds come together, creative sparks fly — and solutions come to light. There is no substitute for the energy, insight, and fresh approaches that top-tier graduate students bring to a university. That means there is intense, nationwide competition to attract the best students.
The Outstanding Scholars Program offers competitive stipends to high-performing students and provides professional development opportunities to help foster tomorrow’s outstanding researchers. The first cohort of 12 Outstanding Scholars started in fall 2019.
An investment in exceptionally talented and high-achieving graduate students is a critical investment in the future. We invite you to partner with us and help turn ambition into achievement. We are grateful for the financial contributions from Tektronix which help to support the Outstanding Scholars program.
