Advising Appointments

Students can book appointments with their assigned advisor through MS Bookings using the links above. To find your assigned advisor: log into MyOregonState, click on "Academics" tab, click "MyDegrees" under "Academic Resources", and check the information box at the top of your "Degree Checklist."

* New students or students returning from a multi-term absence from Oregon State may not have an advisor assigned at the time of enrollment. If you do not have an assigned advisor, please feel free to book with anyone on the advising team.

If you have questions about booking appointments or are having trouble finding your advisor, please email us at cbee.advising@oregonstate.edu

Drop-in Advising

Sign-In For CBEE Virtual Drop-in Advising

CBEE advisors are available Monday-Friday from 9:30-10:00am for virtual drop-in advising via Zoom. Drop-in advising is on a first-come, first-serve basis. These times are intended for students with quick questions requiring 10 minutes or less. Not all advisors are available at all drop-in times. If you need to speak to your advisor, specifically, we recommend scheduling an appointment or emailing your advisor. We will not provide PINs during drop-in advising.

Advising Appointments & PINs

CBEE Advisors offer both in-person and virtual appointments for current and prospective students. In-person appointments will take place in Johnson Hall 116, and virtual appointments will take place via Zoom.

For most students, a 20-minute advising appointment is appropriate for routine advising including course planning, PIN obtainment, registration questions, and career advising. If you need additional time please contact your advisor.

The advising team will notify all CBEE undergraduate students at the beginning of each term whether they will be required to schedule an appointment with their assigned advisor to obtain their registration PIN number for the following term. PINs will only be released by a student's assigned advisor.

Late Policy & Cancelation

If you arrive to a scheduled advising appointment five or more minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule. If you are having internet connection or other issues that are preventing you from joining your Zoom meeting, please email your advisor ASAP.

Students can cancel, reschedule, or change their appointment type (for any reason) up to twelve hours before the appointment through MS Bookings. If your appointment is in less than twelve hours, please email advisor directly. If an advisor needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to illness or other unavailability, they will email students individually.

* If you are feeling sick, do not come to the office. Instead, you can change your meeting to a Zoom appointment or cancel and reschedule when you feel better.
