Expertise and Interests

Project management in Oregon’s Wastewater Surveillance program including facilitating relationships with wastewater utilities across Oregon and implementing best practices and quality assurance/quality control measures. Management of an environmental engineering lab with undergraduate student employees and inter-lab coordination on additional wastewater surveillance research. Collaborations with county public health agencies to translate wastewater surveillance data into public health action. Interested in expansion of wastewater surveillance to additional pathogenic targets with potential impact to communities.
