Biography

Michael Curry is an associate professor of teaching, who has taught on the Corvallis campus, the Bend campus and most recently for E-campus. He primarily teaches course in relational data design and data science. Michael is a graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point and served as a telecommunications engineer in the US Army. He is a true Oregonian with a M.S. degree from the University of Oregon and an international scholar with a doctorate from the University of Manchester, UK.

Michael is a member of the EECS Cybersecurity research team and the ORTSOC - The Nation's First Cybersecurity Teaching Hospital. He is also an active cybersecurity researcher with high quality publications in behavioral cybersecurity. This work positively informs his teaching and helps gain collaboration with key industry partners. As a former software engineer he developed some of the first web-based offerings for Tektronix. As an entrepreneur he developed web and cloud software to add value to small businesses.
