Janet Amador has worked in higher education for the past 36 years. Her experience has included admissions, operations, advising, and program direction. Since joining Oregon State in 2018, Amador's focus has been working directly with faculty in promotion and tenure and faculty search. It has been an honor to assist our esteemed faculty in these areas.

Growing up, Amador lived abroad in Italy and Singapore and has traveled extensively on both of those continents. Both of her sons are Oregon State University students; one is graduating from the School of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering, and the other is majoring in business.
