Biography

Huck Bennett is an assistant professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Oregon State University, where his research area is theoretical computer science. He is particularly interested in algorithmic and complexity-theoretic aspects of lattices, geometric objects at the heart of modern cryptography. He has also done other work in computational geometry and in probabilistic combinatorics.

Prior to Oregon State, Bennett was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Michigan and at Northwestern University. He earned his Ph.D. from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University advised by Daniel Dadush (CWI, Amsterdam) and Chee Yap.
