Dr. Horta Martinez's research is on technology management initiatives in small manufacturing organizations. Understanding how ready managers and employees are to embrace technology and what effects this has in the success of the organization. Her focus is on technology readiness, management of the systems, as well as continuous process improvement approaches such as lean manufacturing.
