College of Engineering

Chris started in 2024 as a first-year advisor for the College of Engineering. He comes with two years of experience advising first-year students at South Dakota Mines, a STEM institution located in western South Dakota. Previously, he was a math teacher for several years in Kyle, SD, where he taught 9th grade Oglala-Lakota students at Little Wound High School.

Syllebram serves as a first-year advisor in the College of Engineering, bringing with him more than four years of dedicated experience in the Financial Aid Department at Western Oregon University. During this time, he supported students as a financial aid counselor before progressing to the role of Assistant Director of Scholarships.

Bridget joined the College of Engineering in 2023 as a first-year Academic Advisor. Prior to advising, Bridget worked for several years as the International Scholarship Coordinator here at OSU. While Corvallis is Bridget’s hometown, she spent about a decade outside of the valley, pursuing an undergraduate degree at Lehigh University, an MBA at CU Boulder, and living and working for a number of years in Bend, OR. Bridget’s professional interests are most often driven by the pursuit of equitable outcomes through the adoption and promotion of ethical business practices.
