The School of Civil and Construction Engineering (CCE) at Oregon State University (OSU) seeks to fill one or more full-time (1.00 FTE), 9-month, tenure-track or tenured position, at the rank of Assistant, or Associate, or Full Professor in Civil Engineering to begin September 16, 2025.

This position is intended to support research and teaching in the general area of transportation engineering across the spectrum of planning, design, and operations. The position incumbent will have demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: smart cities and intelligent transportation system applications; connected and automated transportation systems; transportation network operations and analysis; and transportation economics and policy within civil engineering.

The incumbent in this position is expected to perform a combination of duties related to teaching and advising in civil engineering, advancing research and other scholarly activities, and performing service. The incumbent will possess a demonstrated commitment to engaging in diversity and inclusion initiatives and a record of or potential for developing internal, national, or international partnerships to advance research and education missions in civil engineering. Duties will support the vision, mission, and goals of the school, college, and university.
