Event Details

The 2025 Engineering Expo will take place Fri., June 6 at CH2M Hill Alumni Center and LeSells Stewart Center on the Oregon State University campus in Corvallis. All Oregon high school and middle school teachers are invited to bring classes of students to visit the Expo. Visit slot starting times run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visiting the Expo with your class is a flexible experience. The length of your visit is up to you, as the Expo is free and open to explore in whatever way works best for your class. A preview of all Expo projects, and guidance for planning your class visit, will be provided to all teachers who register their class for an Expo visit.

Registration

There are two options for your class to experience the Expo: 

  • In-person visits:
    • Registration is required for all schools attending in-person
    • The College of Engineering will offer up to $500 in transportation funding per school for those who apply prior to Friday, April 11 at noon. Applications are assessed by The Expo Team and funding is awarded at their discretion.
    • Registration is available on a first-registered, first-served basis until full.
    • The final deadline for school registration is Friday, May 2 at noon.
    • Teacher/Chaperone info sessions will be offered:
      • May 20, 2025: 12 p.m.-1 p.m.
      • May 20, 2025: 4 p.m.-5 p.m.
  • Online experience: The 2025 Engineering Virtual Expo will open at 8 a.m. on June 6. It will feature virtual project display pages created by the student teams showcasing their projects at this year’s in-person Expo. Virtual display pages will feature project descriptions, videos, digital posters, and more. Visitors will have the ability to contact project teams via email to ask them questions about their project. The Virtual Expo site will remain open until the end of the year. While pre-registration is not required for online participation it does help us with planning for future years.

Note: Due to the size of the Expo event, all staff and volunteers are dedicated to ensuring a great experience for your students. Tours of other engineering facilities will not be available on Fri., June 6. Information regarding self-guided campus tours will be provided to all teachers who register their class for an Expo visit.

Funding is available to help support travel costs for qualifying schools. Teachers can request support via the registration form (registration form will go live in early 2025).
