Biography

Since 2002, Theron Bradley has served as the Chief Engineer for NASA, most recently as Executive Secretary of the COLUMBIA Accident Investigation Board. He completed postgraduate work in nuclear engineering and physics and holds a law degree from LaSalle Extension University. From 1982 to 2002 he was a senior civilian manager and nuclear engineer with the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program and previously held leadership positions within the Naval Reactors Headquarters organization, including the Trident submarine program. Bradley is a member of the American Nuclear Society and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and is one of only six recipients of the National Nuclear Security Administration's Gold Award for consistently providing outstanding leadership and accomplishing a sustained level of exceptional achievement over an extended period.
