Leadership Academy

This event focuses on engineering professional development through two important skill areas: networking and interviewing. In a supportive environment, engineering students have the opportunity to practice these skills with the help of industry partners and alumni. We provide advice and interview training for our students before the week of the event. We then focus on mock interviews during the week, concluding in a networking event at the end of the week. We do not expect participants to be experts in networking and interviewing to attend this event — this is your chance to learn.

Take a deep dive into issues of leadership with a community of College of Engineering alumni and industry leaders. This multi-day event held in fall features keynote presentation by a prominent leader in the engineering profession, learning sessions on topics of leadership, and networking sessions for students to meet engineering professionals.

In the midst of these extraordinary times, the Leadership Academy has good news to celebrate this spring 2020: We have recently eclipsed 500 active members in our program!
